Through encouragement from friends and family, I have been fortunate enough to turn my love of specialty coffee, education, and hospitality into an incredible career. I have served as the Director of Education and Coffee for Palace Coffee. Currently, I am a part of the Kaldi's Coffee team in St. Louis. My roles include roasting, green buying, coffee education, and quality.

Relevant Experience

My professional experience in the specialty coffee industry includes serving as a barista, managing retail cafes and educating team members. With this background in retail and hospitality, I have been able to expand my professional roles towards roasting and green buying as well. Other experience in the industry includes competing in Barista and Brewers competitions for the past six years. Currently, I am in my second year serving as a Roaster's Championship judge. Throughout my time in the industry, I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by incredible individuals that have helped me achieve both professional and personal growth through the medium of our industry. My vision for this new USA Chapter is to continue to give back to others in our industry in honor of those that have helped me to achieve my own goals. If elected, my goal is to operate under the core values of building community around specialty coffee, continual growth, humility, and leadership. Through these values and volunteering, I hope to be a voice for our new USA Chapter and serve the immediate needs of the specialty coffee community and SCA members.
